SIZING & STYLE GUIDE - SOFTGLAMNAILS

To help you achieve your dream look, we’ve provided this guide to choosing the right nail shapes and eyelash extension styles before your appointment at SoftGlamNails.

1. Eyelash Extension Lengths & Curls

  • Lengths: We offer lengths from 8mm (Natural) to 16mm (Glamour).
  • Curls:
    • J/B Curl: Straight/Natural lift (ideal for a subtle look).
    • C/CC Curl: Most popular; provides a visible, open-eyed lift.
    • D/DD Curl: Dramatic, high-lift curl for a "doll-eye" effect.
  • Thickness: Our stylists will select the diameter (0.03mm to 0.15mm) based on the health of your natural lashes to prevent damage.

2. Nail Shapes Guide

Choosing the right shape can lengthen your fingers or provide better durability:

  • Square: Classic, flat top with sharp corners. Best for long fingers.
  • Squoval: Square with rounded edges. The most durable and natural shape.
  • Oval/Round: Elegant and timeless. Great for making short fingers look longer.
  • Almond: Tapered sides with a rounded peak. Very trendy and sophisticated.
  • Coffin/Ballerina: Tapered with a flat top. Best for long extensions (Acrylic/Gel-X).
  • Stiletto: Pointed and dramatic. Perfect for bold nail art.

3. Nail Lengths

  • Short: Active length, just past the fingertip. Ideal for daily office work.
  • Medium: Visible extension. Great balance between style and function.
  • Long/Extra Long: Maximum surface area for crystals and hand-painted art. Requires careful maintenance.

4. Press-On Nail Sizing (If applicable)

If you are ordering custom press-on nails from our retail line, please measure the widest part of your nail bed in millimeters:

  • Size S: 15, 12, 13, 11, 8 (Thumb to Pinky)
  • Size M: 16, 13, 14, 12, 9
  • Size L: 18, 14, 15, 13, 10
  • Custom sizing available upon request.
